Established in 1974, RTIP is the only program in the U.S. offering a comprehensive education in the racing industry, blending science, business, and hands-on experience.

🐎 Two Tracks, One Goal

RTIP students choose between two specialized paths:

  • Race Track Management: Focuses on the business side: marketing, regulation, and operations of racing venues.

  • Equine Management: Centers on horse care, breeding, and training methodologies.

Both tracks offer immersive experiences, including internships at racetracks and breeding farms, and participation in the annual Global Symposium on Racing, a premier industry event hosted by the university.
